I use a low end computer with a low end Version of Windows 95 to perform tests on pretty much all software offered on my page (unless stated otherwise). This allows me to say with a high degree of confidence that said software should also work for most Windows 95 users who install the same updates, although some of it may not work on Windows 95a.

Internet Explorer 5.5 Service Pack 2 and Internet Tools with Active Desktop
IE 5.5 SP2 must be considered as an update since it's highly integrated in
Windows. It will update several critical libraries (DLLs) that are required by
many programs. I strongly recommend at least a minimal install of IE, even
if you don't intend to use it.

This patch will further update some DLLs on your system. There is a newer
patch available that works on W95 but this one is sufficient and trouble free.

All editing of my Windows 95 page is performed and uploaded with this machine. Please note that i install and remove a lot of software on this system. Some programs come along with updated DLLs that they require, and it is impossible for me to keep track of all these, nor can i be expected to perform a clean install of Windows 95 on my test system every other week. Consequently, some software may run on my system and not on yours. If you have all the updates above installed and still run into problems, let me know.
